Bright & Airy In-Home Newborn Session
When Meghan contacted me to photograph the arrival of her second child and first daughter, Charlotte, I couldn't have been more thrilled! I had photographed their family almost a year earlier for their Fall photos and I always get so excited when I get to see clients multiple times in a year for various milestones!
Baby Charlotte was such a beautiful, perfect little sleeping cherub for her session! But I think my favorite thing about this session is big brother Jack and how he literally would not stop smiling the entire time! Honestly, I don't think I even have a single image from the entire session where he is not smiling! He adores his new sister and it shows. Capturing that sibling love is so special and gets me every time!
Meghan's master bedroom was the PERFECT space for her newborn session! It was like being in a showroom, it was so immaculately decorated! I always encourage clients to take a few things into consideration when deciding between a in-home or studio session, I have a blog post about that linked below. I look for bright & airy spaces, neutral walls as natural reflectors, natural light and I always make sure the space we are using is totally free of clutter! I actually don't need a huge space for newborn photos, but I can make a small space look airy and beautiful as long as it's near natural light and free of clutter!
