Modern & cozy in-home newborn session
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family of 4 a few weeks ago and it is one of my favorite in-home sessions to date! The first thing I noticed about the home is how beautifully curated and decorated it is! Erika has spent time living on the west coast and I could tell that she used some of that inspiration in decorating her home.
The second thing I noticed when I walked through the door is the ADORABLE and sweet little 2 year old girl! She was just such a dream to photograph! So friendly and sweet with her new baby brother. I never know how things will go with two- year-olds. I find that they are either completely enamored with their new siblings or very uninterested. This big sister was so sweet and loving with him! Honestly, the whole family is so sweet and loving with each other and and the strong bond they have was palpable through the camera. The family shots of them are some of my favorite shots from the session! In-home sessions are awesome if you have young toddlers because it keeps them in a familiar environment where they are most comfortable.
The nursery is BEAUTIFUL and truly belongs in a magazine. I was taking notes myself and finding so much inspiration from it! The sage greens and natural elements that Erika incorporated into the nursery photographed beautifully. I loved everything about this session and I am so excited to share some of my favorite final images!
