Philadelphia Family Photographer: One Year Simplicity Milestone Session
Ahhh milestone sessions! One of my favorite session types to shoot! I knew I wanted to serve my clients with milestone sessions and it was a big reason why I decided to start a studio space! Studio milestone sessions are simple, but big on fun and personality! My goal is to capture the sweet essence of your child without a lot of distractions with props, backdrops, etc. I really want the focus to be on your one year old! I loves simple little outfits and my studio set up is simple yet impactful- I have a toddler sized rocking chair, bubbles, neutral blocks, a big white bed, etc! I always find that less is more.
This sweet family came for their son's one year milestone session and it was amazing! I am usually prepared for one year olds to show some stranger danger and anxiety with me because I am usually a new face. But this little guy was NOT SHY at all! His personality is just adorable and he was so easy for me to capture!! A true joy.
Milestone sessions are easy! Some families like to bring a little cake for cake smashes at the end of the session which I am always happy to accommodate! I even have some neutral cake stands for cake smashes. Other families just keep it simple and want simple updated portraits, which is exactly what I specialize in :)
