Family Beach Sessions in Rockport, Massachusetts!
Over the week of the 4th of July, our family took a family vacation to Rockport, Massachusetts! One of my favorite places ever. Rockport is a little seaside town off the coast and it's straight out of a novel! It has a little country store, an icecream shop that hasn't changed in decades, shops and galleries and the most incredible ocean views! I grew up visiting Rockport all the time, especially in the summer, and I have the most delicious childhood memories from there! I remember going to get ice ice cream with cousins, climbing on the rocks, counting the boats, buying old fashioned candy from the candy store, looking at all the art in the galleries and buying Rockport shirts every summer! I am so happy that I got to give my kids the full, immersive Rockport experience. Visiting Massachusetts every summer is always something I look forward to.
This summer, I decided to open 4 family portrait sessions slots and each session took place at Back Beach, Rockport. Every single session was AMAZING! I always get nervous shooting somewhere new, and I didn't have much time to scope out the area before the sessions started. I also didn't plan for high tide- lesson learned for next year!! One of the session was on a small sliver of sand during high tide, but we made it work!! I am excited to share some favorite shots from these family beach sessions. Until next year!
