Bright & sweet one year milestone shoot
Sweet little Loha! When Grace reached out to me about capturing Loha's one year milestone, I couldn't have been more excited! Loha is the first child and these two wonderful parents and I know how big of a deal the first birthday is for the first born! It's SO exiting to experience that as a first time parent. Babies go through so much growth during their first year and that first birthday is such a big milestone! They only turn one once in their whole lives! It's SO worth the special photoshoot!
Grace told me before the shoot date that Loha can tend to be shy and apprehensive of new situations. With that knowledge, I made sure to pull out all the stops to make the studio calm and engaging for him! Little did we know that he would warm up RIGHT away and was AMAZING! His little personality completely shined through the minute he arrived at my studio and I was amazed! I don't think he was apprehensive for even a minute! He truly made himself right at home.
Grace brought some fun and sentimental decorations from Loha's first birthday party and I thought that was a genius idea. I love how the decorations turned out! For one year shoots, I always tell parents that they are welcome to bring any sentimental decorations like balloons, name banners or signs, et cetera.
Grace, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special milestone in Loha's life! It's a privilege I never take for granted.
