A fun and sweet family session on a cloudy afternoon
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Miller family last night! We had the *BEST* lighting I could have ever wanted. Gorgeous, diffused light on an overcast afternoon is my dream!! We shot at one of my favorite locations and the pictures came out so wonderful! I also LOVE the outfits that mom chose for her family! The green, rust and camel color scheme is a new favorite!
The trio of boys in this family are so adorable and sweet. They were absolutely amazing the entire shoot! I love photographing kids because they bring an element of fun and energy to photoshoots. If you have ever had a photoshoot with me before, you know that I use *a lot* of prompts to keep things fun and engaging for kids. These three did not disappoint and were so wonderful with following directions and just keeping the shoot fun and light hearted!
I strive to capture every family in their natural element. I am never looking for perfect, on-point behavior from young kids! This is why I always use lots of fun prompts for them to make the photoshoot to feel more like a game rather than family portraits! This is also my secret to getting those sweet, authentic smiles ;)
